OUR BIG TRIP

MARY & OLI GOING AROUND AUSTRALIA
NORTHWEST COAST - Page 5

10 September 2007, Monday

Continuation of the Burrup Peninsula 4WD Story...
Callum coming up last after we already moved the big
rock in front of him - he he he, but no problem.
The view from the top - in the background the gas plant
which is interesting if it would be in a real industrial
area and not close to a heritage listed nature reserve.
No, can't get over this one, so a little back and over
with some more right foot.
The next hill had more loose stones and a little longer.
Natural gas plant just outside the nature reserve.
Callum coming up at the second part of the longer hill.
Also on the right and below.
Nice parking spot on the top of the hill - I had to join
Callum - also on the right and below.
Tim, Mike, Callum and I on top of the world - oh sorry no,
just top of the hill.
The rock art in the valley is quite hard to find, but once
you realise how it looks you find that you are
surrounded by it - left and right above. Middle above
shows a swimming hole after a cyclone or rain would hit
the area. On the right the view back from the valley -
fantastic place.
