Continuation of the Steep Point story...
The track is beautiful through the dunes and lots of pink wildflowers as you can see below
Finally, we arrived at Steep Point. On the right, the view from the actual point to the other side and the cliffs - those cliffs along steep point
and the Indian Ocean side of the Shark Bay area is one of the reasons for the World Heritage Listing of this area. By the way, after the few
days we stayed here, we would totally agree that this is a special place and needs to be named World Heritage. Enjoy the waves and cliffs.
This seagull caught something on the rocks (above in
the air, below with a crab in the mouth - I think).
You really do not
want to be caught
out by those waves
below - King Waves
can hit at any time
along those cliffs and
take you off them
very easily - it
sprayed both our car
and us with sprinkles
all the time.
