Continuation of the Yeagarup Beach & Dunes and Gloucester Tree story...

14 October 2007, Sunday

Today the weather was not that great anymore and we decided to do part of the tourist tree drive which would bring us back
to the Gloucester Tree and also the Beedelup Falls and other nice Karri Forest areas. The best of the day was clearly the
parrots again at the Gloucester Tree, this time we were prepared and brought our own food - I know now the eco people will
tell us off that we feed wild birds, however if rangers do it then it can not be that bad in this spot. After that, we went home
again to the chalet to enjoy the last night with a fireplace for a while. We ordered a nice platter from the King Trout Farm with
grilled rainbow trout and marron (freshwater crayfish) and enjoyed that very much. Time to say Good-Bye to Pemberton
which is the Marysville of WA - great place to be and fantastic forest. Below are the pictures of the day.
More panoramics from today - Yeagarup Beach, Warren
River and Yeagarup Dunes
The cascades above and

wildflower we discovered.
Wild parrot seeds and bread make all the difference and suddenly you are surrounded by parrots. Mary even had them on
her head and arms.
