Continuation of the Tree Top Walk and Walpole story...
12 October 2007, Friday
After saying Good-Bye to Mike, Abbey and Tim, we drove back to Pemberton to check-in to the Chalet we booked. We arrived
a little early and had a look at the Bicentennial Tree - which is the highest climbing tree in the area with 75 m height. After
looking at it, we went to the Chalet which is located at the Pemberton Wine Centre - Marima Cottages. They are located in the
middle of the forest and have no TV, mobile phone or broadband reception - very secluded. So we hired some DVD's from
the town general store for the next 3 days and settled down in the chalet. Great place and here are the few pictures from
today.
Tree Top Walk and other Forest walks panoramics continued.

The Walpole Inlet before we drove back to Pemberton. Walpole seems to be a nice area - just the weather needs to be nice. Below are the panoramics from the area.

The Bicentennial Tree close to our chalet - iron spikes driven into the tree represent the ladder you have to climb - the top point is 75 m above ground. Hmmmm, maybe another day, after the Tree Top Walk, I am a little cautious about my potential fear of heights....
