Continuation of the Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge Story...
Water still flowing from here and this bench indicates a
higher river level a while ago...
In the middle of the tunnel the roof has collapsed -
hmmm, Is it safe to walk through the whole thing?
Noises indicate something is happening around the
cave ceiling. See the dark spots?
Here we go - flying foxes resting during the day near
the roof collapsed middle of tunnel creek.
The waterfall formation is the nicest in the entire tunnel
- just hard to take photos of it in darkness.
The end of the tunnel is near... but before through the
water again.
The end and river on the other side.
You can walk out and explore the outside, but I will go
back and convince Mary to come into the entrance for
some pictures.
