Continuation of the Planes, Cable Beach and third Staircase installment...
Panoramics of the planes continued...
Sammy the dragon has woken up
again after 1 year of sleep. The guy
holding his head was this years
patron of the Shinju Matsuri and a
well known entity in Broome - does
not mean we know what he does...
Local guy singing - has only half his
teeth but again a Broome idol.
The WA Minister for Multicultural Affairs from Perth -
you could feel that she was not 100% happy being in
Broome.
The reason many locals came - seeing th Return of the
Pearling Legends. Old man from all over South-East
Asia, Japan and Broome - nice to see.
They all had to raise the sails on the old Pearl Lugger
and happy faces all across the old men.
Cable Beach at about midday - not as full as we
expected. See the blue sunshelter - that is ours...
