OUR BIG TRIP MARY & OLI GOING AROUND AUSTRALIA

|
|
Barred Creek - the cliffs at high tide look quite impressive.

Not sure if you could go down but we saw some more people walking about 500 meters down south.
Even Mary is happy - we are finally entering the coastal stages of our trip.
On the way to the next stop we saw 4 Brolga's on the road and they flew away. Very elegant birds when they start flying - fly and land.

Quondong Point - very nice beach and not may people around. This was the view from our lunch spot in a little shady place below a rock.
We would see more birds today but mainly seagulls.
Did not bring the tripod for the beach walk - so a rock has to work.
Some amazing scenery along the beach.

We called it the natural spa - did not try it because would have needed to wait a few hours for the tide to come back.
Nice rock and sand formations when the tide goes out. So how about this hole in the rock - what do you think it looks like? Could ne two ears on top, two feet at the bottom and a hand on the right - maybe a comic figure?

James Price Point - Dune country, however too far to walk to the beach and we already saw an awesome beach at Quondong Point.
Lots of hermit crabs around again.
The scenery at the town beach viewing area on top of the jetty. Lots of boats out in the sea. Maybe you can take this as the staircase to the boats... he he he Next a few panoramics from the Northern Beaches before we get into the Staircase story...
