THE GREEN STICKER MONSTER
MY TJ WRANGLER

April 2005 - Wombat State Forest
The other famous area for MJOC trips - The Wombat State Forest. Lots of bog hole sand obviously
Paradise Track. It was lots of fun until on Paradise Track my alternator gave up. Having two batteries at
least allowed me to get to Melton and also finish the last few tracks in the Wombat. The pictures below
show why the alternator failed - I guess it was the mud....

Some Gif animations are also available (click on animation below).

One of the first few bog holes.
Tried it slowly first and did not make it, so more
momentum was needed.

At the end I did slow down...
Do you think this mud does
destroy things? Well it did this
time around.

Paradise Track - Looks nice with the available
ground clearance.
Oops dropped the wheel into a hole, see body is
still level, good flex is what is needed -
suspension works well.

Just before heading back on the Hwy, the
alternator already gone. Let's see how far we get
with dual battery system.
